The Guest-House: On spacious grounds and privately fenced, you will find many ways to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Whether gently swinging in a hammock in between the many fruit trees, play badminton or enjoy a swim in the pool, the garden offers all the space and amenities you require. Indoors and on the ground floor are the living and dining room. All comfortably furnished and equipped to help you enjoy a break from the outside world. In total Tanen offers 5 large double bedrooms of which 2 are situated on the ground floor. The landing on first floor provides an additional lounge area. Bathrooms are located on both the ground and first floor with European style fittings. For your convenience extra bathroom facilities are located by the pool. | |
Dewi and Tatang Guesthouse Tanen is kept en lovingly tendered by Dewi and Tatang who live with their three children on the grounds.
Responsible for managing Tanen on a daily basis and making you feel at home, Dewi and Tatang can also guide you to interesting local attractions and around Yogyakarta.
You will find Dewi to be a wonderful cook who will gladly accommodate a special request and even share with you the secrets of the local cuisine. Fresh ingredients for lunch and dinner are obtained from the local market just south of Tanen. Please feel free to ask Dewi to show you around on one of her morning trips. | |
Guest guidelines (it is a non smoking house) Tap water is not suitable for drinking Please do not smoke inside the house The Kitchen is for the exclusive use of Tanen’s staff. Please advise in the morning whether you require lunch and/or dinner on that day You are requested to clear away any dishes and glassware before you retire for the evening We would appreciate guests make use of the shower prior to entering the pool
Laundry A laundry basket is provided for you in each guestroom. Please list the items you wish to be washed and place outside your room. You are requested to settle the account with Mrs Dewi direct.
